About Trout Lily Ranch-Adams Vineyard

Inspired by their love of wine, food and farming Carol and Peter Adams planted their vineyard on the south side of the Chehalem Mountains in the Willamette Valley in 1976. This location has proven itself to be ideal by producing exceptional fruit for the past 40 years. A note from our winemaker, Kelly Kidneigh: “I feel it is my job as a winemaker not to make the wine, but rather to shepherd the fruit, to watch, smell, taste, and listen and in difficult years to guide it with a gentle and patient hand. I believe wine is made in the vineyard under the direction of nature; I merely try to interpret that expression.”
