About Calais Winery
Offering premium wines and an intimate tasting experience, Calais Winery combines excellence with expression of quality when making our Texas wines. Started in Dallas in 2008, the winery evolved out of Benjamin Calais’ enjoyment of winemaking and desire to craft and share exceptional wines. The new winery was built as a traditional “wine cave” dug into the side of a hill outside of Hye, TX. Calais Winery ranks as a touchstone experience for visitors in the Texas Hill Country who wish to taste and acquire wines of distinction.
